Tea festival in Thai Nguyen

Thai Nguyen provincial People's Committee held a press conference to introduce the 2nd Vietnam Tea Festival.

Following the success of the 1st International Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen in 2011. The second Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen jointly held by Thai Nguyen province and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism in order to introduce, promote and honour tea plants, tea growers, other tea products in general and Thai Nguyen tea culture in particular and promote the cultural values, intangible values of Thai Nguyen tea.
 
The festival is also an opportunity to strengthen relationships, joint ventures, associated partnership investment in production, processing and consumption of tea of Thai Nguyen Province with other provinces, domestic and international tea businesses and enterprises, step up production, processing and consumption of tea, attract more investors, implement joint venture activities to further improve production efficiency of Thai Nguyen tea industry in Vietnam.

Attending the Festival are 6 groups from countries and territories that use the imported tea products and tea of Vietnam (China, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, South Korea ) and 34 provinces 25 businesses in the country, 50 famous tea villages of Thai Nguyen.

In the framework of the Festival there are many activities such as: opening ceremony, tea culture festival, Thai Nguyen tea Carnaval, workshop on tea products and investment promotion and development of the tea industry, tourism promotion, the contest "Tea land beauty 2013", closing ceremony and festival performances with the participation of artists, art groups in the country, the organizers hope this is an opportunity to attract more international visitors for Vietnam travel in general and Thai Nguyen tourism in particular.
 
In addition, the Festival also has many additional response activities such as arts photo exhibition introducing the country, people, tea of Thai Nguyen and Vietnam, rural markets, tea products characterized with culture of the country, typical agricultural and industrial fair in Thai Nguyen, children's art exhibition, sports activities....
 
The Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen - Vietnam 2nd time in 2013 scheduled to take place in 3 days in Thai Nguyen city, Nui Coc Lake tourist resort and the local tea growing and processing areas of Thai Nguyen.
