Nha Trang
As
a coastal city and a center of political, economic, cultural, tourism in
the province of Khanh Hoa.
Nha Trang is also known as a city of
festivals: Festival Sea, Miss Universe 2008, Miss World 2010... The
beaches of this city has turned this place into a beautiful landscape
collection attracting a lot of visitors.
This place has a temperate climate, convenient transportation both
inland waterway, road, air and rail. Especially in Nha Trang is the
largest station in the
north-south railway in Vietnam.
All train routes have stops here.
Nha Trang is blessed
with perfect position, natural landscape, climate, along with
background on the history and culture, making Nha Trang a wonderful
resort city.
Looking toward East, Nha Trang has a cluster of islands located
adjacently, Hon Tre is the largest with nearly 25km2. The island can
be reached by sailboat in 2 hours and about 20 minutes by engined
boat. Hon Tre Island is the largest on the Gulf of Nha Trang. From
here look straight off some small islands again. The main advantage
of the island with closed sea, making clean, quiet and beautiful
beaches.
To the west, Nha Trang is surrounded with mountains of up to 1000m
high, there are many species of animals, birds.
A place not less well known than Hon Tre Island is Nha Phu lagoon,
one of the largest lagoon of Khanh Hoa. Nha Phu lagoon situated at
the foot of Hon Heo, away from Nha Trang city about 15km, the lagoon
is tens of kilometers long and is morre than 1500 ha in area...
Another interesting island is Hon Mieu in the Nha Trang Bay, this is
the most inshore island in the bay, it takes only 15 minutes by
motor boat, there are 2 sites of interest on the island is Tri
Nguyen fish pond and Bai Soi beach.
Tri Nguyen aquarium is a
collection of marine fish and marine life. Bai Soi or Gravel beach
as it is called because there is no sand here, only smooth gravel
stones stretch out to the blue water, Bai Soi still remains its
wildness, facing the sea and virgin forest behind.
A
place as familiar name attached to Nha Trang where people are
referred to is
Hon Chong. A natural landscape in the city of Nha
Trang, Hon Chong is a colonization of two clusters of large rocks
located on the coast foothills Lasan. This area is a stacked natural
rock.
