Perfume pagoda 1 day


 

Perfume pagoda is the one of the most important religious sites of Buddhism in Vietnam. The pagoda itself was built into limestone sliffs and only can be reached by boat or on foot, as there are no roads in the area. This one day trip include gliding along lovely stream, walking uh hill, discovering the Vietnamese Buddhism, and enjoy the fresh air of countryside.

Itinerary

07:30: Our guide pick you up at the hotel

8:00: Leave Hanoi. It takes you about two hours road trip (75 Km) and half hours rowing boat along the Yen (Swallow Bird) stream to get to Perfume Pagoda. Gliding along scenic waterway, dotted by romantic range of mountain. It takes another two hours trekking up to the Huong Tich Main cave and complex of pagoda & temple. Visit Thien Tru pagoda which architectures dated bach to 15th century. Have lunch in a local restaurant.

PM: Boat trip back to Duc Wharf and then back to Hanoi. Take a short break at Van Phuc a traditional handicraft silk village. Arrive in Hanoi at around 19.00. Tour ends at your hotel.
